PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

A BizTech IT Preventative Maintenance (PM) provides a flexible level of service for your IT Infrastructure. It is a straightforward and cost effective method of managing and maintaining your Information Technology.

PM deployed with strictly adhered to documented methodologies is the key to ensuring high performance and minimal downtime of your IT Infrastructure. All our engineers are trained in these methodologies and stringently focus on implementing these principles.

Every item of infrastructure that is covered under the PM has a preset amount of time allocated to ensure that it is fully optimised and working correctly. Industry research has shown that this approach is the most cost effective and a better option than re-active maintenance. Overall it gives you greater uptime to your infrastructure.

With PM in place, our engineers aim to diagnose and detect any potential problems before they occur. This gives you the peace of mind that your entire infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.

BizTech IT's skilled engineers are also on call and we offer a responsive service with guaranteed response times for onsite support in the event a problem presents itself. We Log the priority calls by phone, a job number is allocated to track the job from creation to completion. This further ensures that you get back to your day-to-day activities in quick time.

A PM guarantees a pre-defined level of support and PM for a fixed fee. It includes the hours per week, fortnight or month for pre-scheduled maintenance, which entails:

An initial planned project to bring your Infrastructure up-to-scratch will be scoped and quoted. Upon completion of this project, which includes the checking of your backup, anti-virus and functionality of an uninterruptible power supply on key systems, the PM becomes active. Three, six and twelve month agreements are available. The longer the term of the agreement, the more cost effective it becomes for your organisation.

In the PM time, it is the engineer's responsibility to diagnose and fix any potential issues before they arise. We ensure this through strict reporting mechanisms, system health checklists and implementing tried, tested and proven methodologies.
